Ingredients

  1. 1/2 kgtomatoes
  2. 50 gramssugar/brown sugar/jaggery
  3. 1/4 tea spoonmustard seeds
  4. 10curry leaves
  5. 1 table spoonsesame oil
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 3-4dry red chillies
  8. 1 pinchturmeric powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop tomatoes. Heat oil, add mustard seeds and red chillies and curry leaves Add tomatoes after the mustard seeds splutter and let it cook

    Add salt, turmeric powder and sugar and cook till the required consistency

    Refrigerate and this will be good enough for fifteen days
