Fry bacon in large pot until crisp, remove and place on paper towel

Generously season beef with salt and pepper and add to hot bacon grease, sear on all sides. Sprinkle beef with flour while cooking

Toss in onions, garlic, paprika and caraway. Cook for 2 minutes stirring frequently

Add broth, vinegar and tomatoes

Stir constantly while bringing to a boil, then lower to a simmer

cover and cook for 1 hour, stirring frequently

Add potatoes and bacon and continue to simmer for 30 minutes partially covered

Remove from heat and season to taste with salt and pepper

Add a spoonfull of sour cream to each bowl when serving, garnish with parsley
