Chikki is popular for it’s cruncy sweet taste with health benefits. It is mostly made in winter season, but you can make in any season or festivals. You can make it by your own at home with my simple recipe method.

Steps

In a pan take 1 tbsp Desi ghee and let it melt.

Add jaggery to it and cook it on medium flame stirring continuously.

The jaggery should melt properly.

Now we have to check whether the jaggery is cooked perfectly or not. For this, in a bowl full of water, add a little melted jaggery. Let it sit for a min. Now take it out. If it is in completely solid form, it is cooked perfectly.

Now that your jaggery is cooked perfectly, add dry fruits to it and mix well.

Now quickly grease a steel plate and spread the jaggery mixture on it.

Now spread dried rose petals on top of it.

Press it nicely with a spatula.

Cut it in your desired shape and let it set for half an hour. Demould after half an hour. Your Rose gurh chikki is ready!!
