A very easy and quick to prepare Indian chutney, which goes as a good accompaniment with Indian rice cakes, all types of dosa also with bread toast and pongal even with chapati and poori also upma and sevai.

Steps

Blend coconut+ green chilly+ chick peas+ Ginger+ garlic+ curry leaves

add water+ salt and blend to chutney consistency

Check for salt and spice and transfer it to a serving bowl.

In low flame pour oil then add mustard seeds and wait for it to crackle then add gram saute till it turns brown, add the red chilli by breaking it into two halves then add few curry leaves, Don let it burn and pour it on top of chutney and serve

Ginger is optional. people who prefer spice may add an extra green chilli
