3egg whites
1/4 tspsalt
3/4 cupsugar
1 1/2 cupshredded coconut
1 tspvanilla extract
1candied cherry halves

preheat oven to 250°

beat egg whites and salt until stiff but not dry.

gradually beat in sugar until stiff and glossy
4

fold in coconut and vanilla

drop mix by the teaspoonful onto lined cookie sheet

bake for 30 min.

turn off oven and let cool.

remove from oven and top each macaroon with 1 candied cherry half.

serve
