Steps

preheat oven to 700°F
- 2
slice and dice 2 medium onions
- 3
slice and dice one clove of garlic
- 4
soften garlic and onion with olive oil in a heavy based pan
- 5
add salt and pepper and any other herbs you would like

in a seperate pan brown mince, then add the onions and garlic to mince
- 7
add 1/4 of a pint water and stock cube and allow to cook on a low heat for 30 mins, stirring ocasionaly

whilst you mince is cooking peel and chop potatoes into 1/4 and then wash
- 9
place potatoes in cold water and bring to boil then cook for 25 mins

when potatoes are cooked, drain then return to pot, mash, add milk, butter, seasoning then mash again

fill a large lasagne dish with your cooked mince then top with mash potatoes and grated cheese. Add a few of the mcoys on top of cheese, put in the oven untill golden and serve
