Steps
- 1
Put the flour on clean surface (table).
- 2
Make a hole in the middle of the flour (like a vulcano). Put yeast and sugar in the hole. Sprinkle the salt on the edges of the vulcano.
- 3
Add water to the middle and slowly mix in the flour with salt. Don't add all the water at once, half a litre could be too much!
- 4
Knead for a while (10 minutes). Leave to rest for 30 minutes, it should rise to almost twice the size.
- 5
Preheat oven to 180C.
- 6
Form little loafs (with this much dough you can make about 10 of them). Put on a greased pan and let it rest for 10-15 minutes. Tap the loafs with water and cut in the middle (not all the way through).
- 7
Put into the oven and let it bake for 30 minutes. Tap with water again.
- 8
Turn up the heat to 200 and bake for another 10 minutes. Let it cool down and enjoy.
