Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cupgolden all vegetable shortening
  2. 1 1/4 cuplightly packed brown sugar
  3. 1egg
  4. 2 tbspmilk
  5. 1 tbspvanilla
  6. 1 3/4 cupflour
  7. 1 tspsalt
  8. 3/4 tspbaking soda
  9. 1 cupsemi sweet chocolate chips
  10. 1 cupcoarsely chopped peacans

Steps

  1. 1

    preheat oven 375

  2. 2

    cream shortening and brown sugar in large bowl at medium speed for 2 minutes

  3. 3

    add egg, milk, and vanilla, beating 1 minute

  4. 4

    combine flour, salt, and baking soda. add to creamed mixture gradually, beating on low speed

  5. 5

    stir in chocolate chips and peacans

  6. 6

    drop by tablespoonfull on ungreased baking sheet

  7. 7

    bake 11 to 13 minutes, cool on pan 2 minutes
