have pre grated carrots, or finely grate the carrots.

heat a shallow bottom pan and add Ghee.

when ghee heats up, add green cardamom and cashews, and fry till slightly brown.

Now add grated carrot and keep stirring and turning so as to not let it stick to the bottom.

once the carrot turns orange in colour, add the milk, and keep stirring and do not leery the milk burn.

add the raising and sugar once the milk has been reduced to 1/4th in quantity.

continually stir the mixture till all the milk evaporates and the halwa sticky.

sprinkle chopped almonds and cashews on top and serve hot.
