Steps

Heat water in a pot until its lukewarm.

In bowl,add in the salt and flour.Mix carefully.

Into the mixture,add the egg.Then add in the butter.Mix.

Add in the lukewarm water gradually as you mix in.

Then add in a little of the vegetable oil to make the dough smooth.

Knead in the dough until its ready.

Leave the dough to settle for 10 minutes.

Portion the dough into small portions.

Roll out each portion into a desired round-size.

The rolled portion is ready for pan frying.

Place the round portion on the pan,smear the vegetable oil on it.

Turn it up side down and allow the bottom to fry and brown lightly.

Meanwhile,smear the top side with the oil too as the bottom side browns.

Immediately the bottom part is brown,turn it to enable the top side to fry.Let it brown lightly.

Repeat steps 9-14 to the left portions.

Ensure for heat regulation.

Serve with spiced coffee to suit your high -tea menu.
