Ingredients

2 headsbroccoli chopped
1/4 cupbutter
1/4 cupflour
1onion chopped
2 cupshalf and half
2 cupschicken or vegetable broth
1/2 cupcarrots shredded in food processor
2 cupsshredded cheddar cheese
Salt & pepper
Bread bowl for serving optional

In a large pot sauté butter, carrots, and onion for a few minutes

Add flour, then slowly stir in half and half and broth, bring to a simmer for 5-10 minutes on low heat

Mix in broccoli, salt, and pepper, simmer 10-15 minutes on low heat
4

Add cheese, stir until melted and serve
