Brown beef with onions and garlic and drain

Return beef to pan, add spaghetti sauce and water and simmer 5 minutes

In medium bowl mix ricotta, 1 and 1/2 cups of mozzarella, 2 TBs parmesan, egg and parsley

Pour 1 cup of meat sauce into a 4-6 quart slow cooker. Place half of noodles on top of sauce.

Spread half of ricotta mixture on top of noodles then cover with 2 cups of meat sauce. Top with remaining noodles and ricotta mixture. Finish with rest of meat sauce.

Cook on low for 4-5 hours or until noodles are soft. Do not overcook

After cooking turn cooker off and sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella and rest of parmesan cheese

Recover and let sit for 10 minutes to melt cheese.
