Nana's Chicken & Dumplings
This is my Grandmother's recipe! ;-)

To start the chicken: Place the chicken, onion, and chicken stock in a large pot. Add the 4 quarts of water and bring to a boil over medium/high heat. Boil the chicken until it is tender and the thigh juices run clear, about 40 minutes.

Take the chicken out of the pot and, when it's cool enough to handle, remove the skin and separate the meat from the bones, shred the chicken with your hands . Return the chicken meat to the pot. Keep warm over low heat.

Quickly tear the canned biscuits into bite sized dumplings and add them to the pot.

Turn to medium heat and stir continuously until the middle of the dumpling looks darker than the outside, about 15 minutes.
