heat oven to 350°F

melt the butter in a saucepan and cook it until the solids have browned stirring continuously about 5 minutes, cool

in a large bowl stir together the butter and sugar . add in the salt, eggs and vanilla

in a large bowl sift all the dry ingredients together . add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture until just combined .

scoop the cookie dough onto a baking sheet bake until golden brown about 15 minutes
