Cover and cook on low heat for 5 to 6 hours

Turn to high and stir in uncooked rice and sweet pepper

Cover and cook 30 mins more

Stir in shrimp and parsley and season to taste with additional salt and ground black pepper

Garnish each serving with celery leaves and splash with bottled hot pepper sauce
