1 1/2 cupbrown rice
2 1/2 cupwater (or chicken stock)
1 tbspbutter
1 tspsalt

Preheat oven to 375

Place rice in 8in square oven safe pan

Bring water, butter and salt to a boil
4

Pour boiling water over rice and stir to mix

Cover with heavy foil and bake for one hour
6

When done, fluff rice with fork and serve
