In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Mix well.

Add the warm water and stir until you have a thick, smooth batter.

Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rest for 40 minutes.

Heat olive oil in a deep pot until hot.

Using a tablespoon, scoop some batter and drop it into the hot oil. Dip the spoon in water before each scoop to prevent sticking.

Once the loukoumades turn golden brown, remove them with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels.

While still warm, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.
