Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1pot of natural plain yogurt
  • 3eggs
  • 1pot of sunflower oil
  • 1pot of sugar
  • 3pots of white flour
  • 1lemon
  • 1/2 packagesbaking powder (1 heaped tablespoon)

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large bowl mix in the three eggs with the yogurt. The empty pot of yogurt will be used as the measure unit for the rest of the recipe.

  2. 2

    Add in one pot of sugar and mix well.

  3. 3

    Add in one pot of sunflower oil and mix well.

  4. 4

    Add in the zest of one whole unwaxed lemon and a generous squeeze of lemon juice (to taste)

  5. 5

    Add in the three pots of flour, one at a time, stirring well after each pot.

  6. 6

    Add in the baking powder and mix. Pour the mixture into a greased cake mould and cook at 180º celcius for 40 minutes. Check after 30 minutes with a wooden stick
