Ingredients

4 servings
  • 3Potatoes
  • to tasteSalt and pepper
  • 2 clovesCrushed garlic
  • 3 tbspButter
  • 1/2 cupFresh cream
  • 1/4 cupChives
  • 1/4 cupParmesan cheese ( optional )

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel and cut potato into small cubes. Place in pot, cover with water and add a pinch of salt. Boil potatoes until very soft and falling apart.

  2. 2

    In a separate pot bring the cream, butter and chopped chives, garlic salt and pepper to the boil. If you're using Parmesan put that in too.

  3. 3

    Pour water off the potatoes and pour the cream mixture onto potatoes. Mash.

  4. 4

    It looks very sloppy, but let it stand for a few minutes before serving. They turn out creamy and delicious
