preheat oven as directed on cake mix

mix only cake mix and soda

pour batter into greased pan

cook according to cake mix directions

keep a close eye, these seem ready in half the time sometimes

while cooking you can cut strawberries however you wish

cake is done when toothpick comes out clean

these cakes do not rise like normal cake mixes

while the cake is cooling you can fold cool whip in with frosting

after cake has cooled frost cake with frosting/cool whip mixture

decorate cake with strawberries as you want
