Simple Chicken & Dumplings crockpot style

Set crockpot to 8 hours or desired cook time

Add chicken broth, cream cheese bar, italian seasoning, cream of chicken soup and mix together.

Allow ingredients to heat up and melt together for about 15-30 minutes and then add chicken. I usually put my chicken breasts or thighs in whole and allow them to fall apart after a while rather than cutting into smaller pieces.

About 45 minutes before serving, I add the biscuits, leaving them whole, and laying them individually on top until the entire top is covered.

Once biscuits have risen, I turn the crockpot to the warm setting until we are ready to eat.
