Bhetki maccher paturi (Barramundi fish)

Wash the fish pieces.. add salt and lemon juice..Mix well and keep it aside for 10 minutes.

In the meantime grind the mustard seeds and poppy seeds with a pinch of salt.

In a big bowl add mustard seeds paste poppy seeds paste green chilli paste coconut paste turmeric powder salt and mustard oil

Mix it well.

Now add the fish pieces with the masala.

. Coat each fish piece with masala.And keep them for marination at least for 30 minutes.

Wash the banana leaf and Pat them dry.cut them into square size.

Rub little mustard oil on both the side of leaf.And lightly roast the leaves on the flame of your gas.

Now take out the fish.place the fish in the center of the leaf with the masala.place a green chilli on the top of the fish.

Fold the leaf like a parcel and tie with thread.

Now on a non stick tawa add some mustard oil.

Place the banana leaf parcel on the hot tawa.And cover with a lid.

Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes each side.

When all parcel will be done served the closed parcel with steam rice.
