Learning from only the best Latin friends of mine, I've created a bean stew that will surely go well with any pre-drinking sesh at any international location. Adjust based on local ingredients.

sauté garlic and bacon in olive oil, followed by the onions and bay leaves

slowly add the sausages by order of hardness, with the hardest going first; season with salt, pepper, and paprika
- 3
add beans and the reserved bean liquid, and bring to a boil
- 4
adjust level of liquid with chicken broth, let simmer for 30-45 minutes
- 5
serve with rice, best enjoyed with ice cold beer
