Melt butter in microwave. Mix in brown sugar.

Pour butter & sugar mixture evenly on bottom of 9×13 pan.

Beat eggs, milk and vanilla.

Lay single layer of toast on bottom of pan.

Pour half of the egg mixture on top of the first layer of toast.

Cover with second layer of toast.

Pour remaining egg mixture on top of second layer of toast.

Cover and chill in fridge overnight.

Bake at 350° for 45 minutes (covered for the first 30).

Sprinkle on powdered sugar.

Serve with warm maple syrup.
