My husband is greek, his favorite dessert is galaktoboureko..which is a semolina based desert custard in phyllo.
I thought of a semolina based dessert without phyllo..

In a bowl, mix together the semolina, flower, coconut powder ,baking powder, oil, milk. Set aside for 10 min to rest

In a small saucepan over slow heat stir together the water, lemon and sugar. Boil for 8 to 10 min

Preheat the oven to 180°, spread butter and semolina into the bottom of the baking dish.

Slice into squares and place an almond or peanut in the middle of each piece

Bake for 20min.

When to top is golden, remove from the oven and poor the syrop over the.hot squares.

Serve cold.
