Cook sausage in 6qt straight-walled skillet

Once sausage is cooked, add butter to pan then add seasoning and sufficient flour to soak up all grease and cook until slightly browned

Add half of the milk, stirring continuously to dissolve flour. Stir on medium heat, making sure it doesn't stick to sides and bottom of pan, until it begins to thicken

When gravy begins to thicken, add remainder of milk, continuously stirring. It will thin out a little, just keep stirring it, making sure it doesn't stick to the sides or bottom of pan, until desired consistency is reached
