Leftover beans, leftover ham, and some onions. These onions are actually grown locally. Big huge onions grown in the strawberry fields. It used to be just a row on the border of the fields. Now its several rows. It use to be only white onions now they plant the red ones too.

based on a rachel ray recipe, this is a quick and hearty stew that can even freeze well. i recommend making the beans from dried but canned works too. for more flavor i suggest roasting the carrots and garlic.this stew is great with bread, i like hot crusty bread :)

This Chicken and Sausage stew has a lot of ingredients but they are mostly fresh vegetables. After the slicing up of the vegetables everything cooks together for a hearty full flavored broth based chicken stew. It's delicious on pasta, rice or potatos or served in bowls with crusty bread for dipping!

Just had to pass on this recipe, we had it last night, it took 40 minutes from start to finish, and proved to be a real thumbs up with us, so tasty..... and something different to do with chorizo!
