Prehear oven to 350

Line pan with parchment paper

(Cake) Sift flour, baking powder and salt

(Cake) Beat eggs and sugar until pale for about 15 minutes

(Cake) Fold in flour mixture

(Cake) Add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla

(Cake) Bake for 25-30 minutes

(Pudding) Heat milk and vanilla in medium saucepan over medium heat. *Do not boil.

(Pudding) Whisk whole eggs, egg yolks and sugar until fluffy

(Pudding) Whisk in cornstarch and salt until no lumps

(Pudding) Slowly whisk in hot milk mixture

(Pudding) Heat mixture into saucepan and cook over low heat until thick for 10 to 15 minutes

(Pudding) Strain pudding through fine mesh sieve. Refrigerate for over 2 hours

Cut cake in half and spread pudding in between cake slices

(Glaze) Heat chocolate, cream, vanilla, and salt in saucepan over medium-low heat for about 2 minutes

(Glaze) Cool for 5 minutes then pour over cake. Refrigerate for at 30 minutes before serving
