Ingredients

15-20minutes
5servings
  1. 1 bowlcarrot (grated)
  2. 1/2 bowlbeetroot (grated)
  3. 2onion chopped
  4. 1tomato chopped
  5. 1/2 spoonchaat masala
  6. 1 bowlCoriander+ Pudhina(leaves chopped/ powder)
  7. 1-2 bowlcurd
  8. 2 bowlsemolina(suji)
  9. 1/2 tspblack salt
  10. 1/2 tspwhite salt
  11. 2-3green chilli chopped
  12. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  13. 1/2 bowlAlmond+Cashew+Pista+Kishmish(chopped)
  14. if neededWater
  15. {Desi ghee for gressing}

Steps

15-20minutes
  1. 1

    Mix well all the Ingredients except Ghee to make a dough (shouldn’t be too hard).

  2. 2

    Now keep the batter aside for 30 minutes to rest.

  3. 3

    Heat the Appe mould on a medium flame and grease it using ghee.

  4. 4

    Drop 4-5 dry fruits in each holes.

  5. 5

    Pour a spoonful of batter in each mould, cover the pan and let it cook.

  6. 6

    Cook till the outer surface becomes light brown and then turn appe upside down using a fork so as to cook them from the other side as well.

  7. 7

    Repeat with the remaining batter to make more appes.

  8. 8

    Serve immediately with green chutney.
