Soak moong dal for 3-4hrs and blend it in mixer without water completely

Dissolve saffron in warm milk...

Take ghee in a heated non stick pan and add moong dal paste in it

Stir continuously for 20-25min til it turns little brown

Grate khoya in a bowl and add cashew nuts and khoya to the moong dal and stir for more 5 minutes

To make chasni take a big bowl add 1cup water and sugar to it.. Dissolve sugar completely and after2-3min switch off the flame

Add saffron milk to the moong dal and chasni also

Stir to mix it completely with the moong dal

Moong dal halwa is ready to serve
