Ingredients

  1. Cake
  2. 2 cupall-purpose flour
  3. 2 cupgranulated sugar
  4. 2 stickunsalted butter
  5. 1 cupCoca-Cola
  6. 3 tbspcocoa
  7. 1/2 cupbuttermilk
  8. 2eggs
  9. 1 tspvanilla extract
  10. 1 tspbaking soda
  11. 1 1/2 cupminiature marshmallows
  12. Frosting
  13. 1 stickunsalted butter
  14. 2 tbspcocoa
  15. 6 tbspCoca-Cola
  16. 1 boxpowdered sugar (small)

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. 2

    Combine sugar and flour in large mixing bowl.

    Combine butter, Coca-Cola, and cocoa in a sauce pan; bring to a boil.

    Pour hot liquid mixture over flour/sugar mixture and beat well.

    Add buttermilk, eggs, vanilla, baking soda, and marshmallows; mix well. Marshmallows will not mix. That is normal.

  6. 6

    Pour in greased pan and bake for 30 minutes.

  7. 7

    Let cake cool before starting the frosting.
