Doi maach ( fish in yoghut curry)

Take the fish and marinade it with salt, red chilli powder. Keep it aside.

In a wok add ghee and temper whole garam masala, and bay leaves

Add the marinated fish. Fry it till it gets light golden.

Add the onion paste, ginger paste, yoghut ( curd) to the fish. Keep the flame low and simmer for 5 mins.

When the liquid reduces add garam masala powder, ghee, salt to taste and sugar 1 table spoon. Stir slightly, so that the fish pieces don't break.

Give 5 mins standing time and serve hot with boiled rice.
