Ingredients

  1. 6large potatoes
  2. 3/4 cupdairy sour cream
  3. 1/2Philadelphia cream cheese
  4. 1/2 cupchopped onion fine
  5. 1/2 tspsalt
  6. 1/4 tspwhite pepper
  7. 2 tbspbutter
  8. 1topping
  9. 1 1/2 tbspmelted butter
  10. 3/4 cupsoft, fine bread crumbs

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook and drain the potatoes. Mash tell smooth. Add the next 6 ingredients and beat tell fluffy.

  2. 2

    Turn mixture into well-buttered , medium-sized casserole.

  3. 3

    To make the topping: melt the butter and pour over the crumbs. Toss gently with a fork, so that crumbs do not become butter-soaked.

  4. 4

    Sprinkle crumbs evenly over potato mixture and bake i medium oven for 30 minutes.

  5. 5

    Allow to stand for 10 minutes after removing from oven before serving.
