Ingredients

3 to 4 servings
  1. 300 gmfresh Kathal
  2. 100 gmPotato
  3. 1medium Onion finely chopped
  4. 1 tspfinely chopped green chilli
  5. 1 tspgrated ginger
  6. 1/2 tspminced garlic
  7. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  8. 1/3 tspKitchen king Curry powder
  9. 1/3 tspKasoori methi leaves crushed
  10. Red chilli powder optional
  11. 1 tbspbesan
  12. 1 pinchsugar
  13. Salt as required
  14. as neededOil for shallow/deep frying
  15. As neededBread crumbs / Sooji to roll the Cutlets

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil Kathal and Potato with turmeric powder and salt.

  2. 2

    Mash nicely with masher and mix rest of the ingredients except the last two.

  3. 3

    Give shape to the Cutlets as you like. Roll them on bread crumbs or Sooji.

  4. 4

    Shallow or deep fry in medium flame. Hot, crispy and delicious Kathal Cutlets are ready to serve with Chutney or sauce you like.
