Strawberry Oreo Milk Chiffon Cake - Kids Will Love It

I've wanted to make an Oreo chiffon cake for a long time because I'm a huge fan of chiffon cakes. They're never boring... so light and low in calories compared to other cakes, and they're super quick to make... haha. I planned to make this Oreo chiffon cake months ago but never got around to it. Finally, I had some leftover strawberry Oreos from my child. Instead of letting them go stale, I decided to use them, plus I still had some strawberry-flavored milk. Perfect! The kids will definitely love it. This is a self-modified recipe. Let's get to the recipe! This is for a 17cm chiffon pan. If you want to double the recipe, use a 22cm pan.

Steps
- 1
Beat the egg yolks and sugar briefly until the sugar dissolves. Add the milk and oil, and mix until just combined. Finally, add the flour and mix well.
- 2
Beat ingredients B until stiff peaks form. To do this: beat until bubbles start to form, then gradually add the sugar in 3 parts until stiff peaks form (the egg whites should not fall when the bowl is turned upside down).
- 3
Gradually fold ingredients B into ingredients A in 3 parts, gently folding with a spatula.
- 4
Add the crushed strawberry Oreos and mix until just combined. Do not overmix or mix for too long.
- 5
Bake at 350°F (180°C) in a preheated oven.
- 6
Once baked, immediately invert the chiffon pan and let it cool to room temperature before cutting.
- 7
Another way to enjoy Oreos and milk!
