Shape the ground beef into kofta-style balls.

Thread the meatballs, potato slices, eggplant slices, and tomato slices onto skewers in order.

Arrange the skewers side by side in a small baking dish.

To make the sauce, sauté the chopped onion with spices, then add the pureed tomatoes and pomegranate molasses. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.

Pour the sauce over the skewers in the baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
