Ingredients

  • 2 cupRice Flour
  • 1Onion
  • 2Green Chilli
  • 2 tbspGinger grated
  • 2 tbspKasoori Methi
  • 1 tbspCarom Seeds
  • 1/2 tbspRed Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tbspSambhar Masala
  • 1/2 tbspChat Masala
  • Salt as per taste
  • as neededCooking Oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly chop the onion and green chilli.Then in a large mixing bowl, combine rice flour, carom seeds,kasoori methi, salt, red chilli powder,sambhar masala powder, chat masala,grated ginger, chopped green chilli and chopped onion.Mix all very well.

    Heat water in a container. Add required water into the rice-flour mixture,mix it with a spatula and when it little cool down then knead it and make soft and smooth dough.

    Additionally add more water if required and make a soft dough. Divide the dough into equal portions.

  4. 4

    Now take a small ball of dough and start patting over oiled aluminium foil and pat it from all sides so that it form like a chapati.The chapati should be not very thin and also not very thick.You can also roll it slightly and slowly with a rolling pin.

    Heat a tawa and then take out chapati gently from the aluminium foil and then drop it gently on the tawa and cook it from one side and then flip it.

  6. 6

    Smear some oil on the both the sides and cook it nicely from both sides on medium flame and then take it out, roll it and then serve it.
