Spinach Corn Sandwich is a perfect to pack in kids breakfast. The  biggest dilemma we moms face is ‘What to pack for Lunch box ????’, off course with out compromising the health aspect.  And if you have a fussy kid then the challenge just doubles up. You have  to be innovative for making food interesting for kids.  This Spinach Corn Sandwich is good way to make your kids eat their share of greens. The cheesy sauce is delicious enough to tempt them.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmilk
  2. 1 serving spoonamul butter
  3. 1 tbspmaida
  4. 1 cubegrated amul cheese
  5. 1grated carrot
  6. 1small piece grated cabbage
  7. 1 pieceAmerican corn (grated optional)
  8. 1 bunchchopped & blanched spinach (palak)
  9. 1 tspblack pepper powder
  10. 1 tspwhite paper powder
  11. fewchopped garlic
  12. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    In a pan heat butter.

    When it melts add garlic and maida.

  3. 3

    Go on stirring, till it's brown in colour ; add milk.

    Go on stirring, don't leave the side of the gas.

    Once it forms the thick consistency ; add all the veggies ; cheese ; salt ; white and black pepper powder

    Mix well, keep on slow flame for 15-20mins.

    Allow it to cool.

    How to make Sandwich

    Cut the edges of the bread,apply the mixture on one side of the bread and cover it with the other bread.

    Cut into desired shapes and sizes.

    Serve with tomato sauce.

    You want it more healthier....use less cheese and butter, more veggies and wheat flour instead of maida.

    You want a grill sandwich....apply butter on the bread toast it on the tava or a sandwich griller. Making mixture is same as mentioned above.
