Ingredients

15-20 minutes
  1. 1 cupblack gram soaked overnight
  2. 1onion
  3. 1tomato
  4. 2green chillies
  5. 5-6garlic cloves paste
  6. 1 tspMustard oil
  7. 1Bay leaf
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. 1/2 tsp turmeric
  10. red chilli powder as per taste
  11. 1/2 tspMustard seeds and ajwain
  12. 1 cupPoha - nylon thin type
  13. Oil for frying poha

Steps

15-20 minutes
  1. 1

    Slice onion tomato and green chillies.

    In a cooker add oil. Add mustard seeds and ajwain. Add asafoetida and bay leaf.

    Add onion saute for a while. Add garlic paste.

  4. 4

    Add tomato and chillies. Roast it for 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Now add black gram and spices.

  6. 6

    Add 1 cup of water and cook it on high flame for 4-5 whistles and 2 whistles on low flame.

    Take it in a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves. Ghughni is ready to serve.

  8. 8

    In a wok add oil. Once hot fry Poha in it. chura ready to serve.
