In a bowl mix in besan all the ingredients for koftas except oil.

Take small portions, Give shape and fry in hot oil on medium flame. High flame used will burn the koftas outside and they will remain raw inside. Fry all koftas.

In a pan heat 1 tbsp oil add cumin seeds. When splutter add onions and cook until turn pink. Adding a punch of salt here will reduce this time.

Now add ginger garlic chilli paste saute. Add kasmiri mirch And mix so that it's colour us released in oil.

Now add tomato puree and rest of spices And stir fry the masala until it leaves the sides of pan. Add water and give it a boil on high flame. Now reduce heat And let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Mix fried koftas in this gravy and cook for 2-3 minutes with lid.

Open and add garam masala. mix well. Lastly add chopped coriander leaves.

Serve hot with rice, chapati, paratha or naan.
