Ingredients

15 minutes
3-4 servings
  • 200 gmPumpkin (diced in big chunks)
  • 2Potato (diced in big chunks)
  • 150 gmRaw jackfruit (diced in big chunks)or any seasonal veggie
  • 2Brinjal (diced in big chunks)
  • 1Raw banana (diced in big chunks)
  • 3Tomato (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoonGinger (grated)
  • 1/2 teaspoonFive spices seeds
  • 1 teaspoonCoriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoonGaram masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonCumin powder
  • 1 pinchAsafoetida
  • 1-2Dry red chilli
  • 2Bay leaves
  • 3-4 tablespoonOil

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    First of all, stir fry all vegetables one-by-one and keep it aside.

  2. 2

    Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in a pan, into it add five spices seeds, dry red chilli, asafoetida and bay leaves and allow it to crackle then add ginger in it and saute for a minutes.

  3. 3

    Mix all dry spices with little water as it comes in a consistency of paste and add it into the oil and cook it 4-5 minutes as it will start leaving sides of the pan.

    Add tomato in it and cook it for 5-7 minutes until tomato is completely with mixed with spices.

    Now add stir fried vegetables in it and cook it till it starts leaving oil.

  6. 6

    Then add water as per your preference and garam masala powder in it cook it well.

  7. 7

    Garnish it with coriander leaves.

  8. 8

    Your dalna is ready to serve.
