First in a pan add the kadalai maavu, curd. salt, baking soda and mix it properly.

Allow it for 1 hour.

Then in the plate pour it and bake it in the steamer for 15 minutes.

Then remove it and cut it into square pieces, Then add grated coconut, soaked moong dal,coriander leaves and lemon juice. Also add the fried mustard and green chilies.

Dokla is ready to taste. Can be eaten with green chili sauce.
