Ingredients

  • 1 packetready to fry chicken seekh kabab
  • 4onions sliced & deep fried
  • 1 cupplain yogurt
  • 1/2 cupmilk
  • 1 boxtomato puree
  • (grind the above ingredients to paste in a food processor)
  • 2 tspred chilli powder
  • 2 tspturmeric powder
  • 2 tspgaram masala powder
  • 3 tspcoriander powder
  • 1 tspginger garlic paste
  • to tastesalt
  • 2-3bay leaves
  • 4-5 tbspoil
  • 2-3green chillies chopped (optional)
  • juice of 1 lemon squeezed
  • as neededcoriander leaves for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the seekh kababs in two pieces & shallow fry them on medium heat in a fry pan. keep them aside in a dish.

  2. 2

    For gravy: heat oil in a deep pan. add bay leaves. once they change colour add ginger garlic paste, dry masalas(redchilli,coriander,turmeric, garam masala powder) & cook for few seconds.
    add water, onion paste & let the gravy simmer on meduim heat for few minutes.

  3. 3

    Once the oil floats on top add the fried seekh kababs & mix well. chk for salt.
    garnish with coriander leaves & serve hot with roti or steam rice.
