Steps

In a mixing bowl, add flour, oil, salt and water. Knead it into a soft dough. Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for 30mins.

Make small balls of the dough.

Roll the ball into a 6" disk shape. Brush it with oil and sprinkle some flour on it. Then starting from one edge, fold and pleat till the end.

Roll the pleated edge tightly and join the edges. (Do the same with the rest of the dough)

Lightly dust with flour and roll into a round paratha of 5" in diameter.

Heat a pan and place the paratha on it

Once the side is partly cooked, turn it over and cook the other side.

Brush the cooked side with oil while the other side isvcooking. Then turn it over. Apply oil on the other side too. Cook both the sides making sure the paratha is evenly cooked.

Serve it hot with any daal or curry.
