A colleague was generous and gave me potatoes from his Shamba, I couldn't turn down the offer.I love cooking but live alone so I get bored and thought of what to do with the potatoes. Below is how I made the potatoes yummy. The quantity depends on the serving.

Peel potatoes enough for your serving

Rinse and Cut them into sizeable portions for even cooking

Put them in a cooking pot and cover them half way with water.

Put to boil for 15 mins on medium heat.

On a different pot, heat 2 to 3 teaspoon of butter.

Add crushed garlic and stir

Add the sour cream, stir then add milk allow to heat for 5 mins

Check the potatoes to see if they are ready. Drain the water in a colander.

Using the initial pot mash the potatoes till smooth, add the mixture of cream and mix evenly. Add salt, pepper to your taste.

Serve with any accompaniment.
