Ingredients

3-4 servings
  1. Boneless chicken (apprx 1/4 Kgs)
  2. 1 tbspTandoori Masala
  3. 1 tspfreshly ground cumin powder
  4. 1 tspfreshly ground black pepper
  5. to tastesalt
  6. 1 tspGarlic ginger paste
  7. Oil
  8. Use the above to marinate the chicken and boil briefly - to drain excess water
  9. 1/2 tspcumin whole
  10. 1grated onion
  11. 1cinnamon stick
  12. 4whole cardamons
  13. 2-4 Tbspbutter
  14. Tomato puree (from blending 2 ripe tomatoes)
  15. Ginger garlic paste
  16. Full cream
  17. 2 tbspyoghurt
  18. coriander

Steps

  1. 1

    Once the chicken is cooked and all water drained set aside.

  2. 2

    In the same pot, add some cooking oil and butter then fry the whole spices till they splutter

  3. 3

    Add in the grated onion and fry till softens - add in the yoghurt and puree and let it cook on medium heat

  4. 4

    Add in your full cream till you get it as saucy as you like.

  5. 5

    Add in the chicken and let it simmer on low heat - taste for salt.

  6. 6

    Once its well cooked sprinkle your coriander and your curry is ready to serve with rice, naan or chapati.
