Steps

Pressure cook the sweet potatoes with skin..

Let it cool for sometime.

Mash the sweet potatoes with maida & baking powder.

Make sure there are no lumps.

Divide the mixture into equal portions.

Make small balls from the mixture.

Keep it aside.

Heat refined oil in medium heat.

Deep fry the balls till golden brown.

Now take sugar & 1 cup water in a pan.

Keep the pan in slow flame.stir,so that the Sugar melt.

Cook the syrup till you get half stirring consistency.

The syrup should feel sticky and not watery.

Switch off the flame and and add 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder.mix well & keep it aside.

The syrup should be hot or warm when you added the jamuns in it.

Decorate it with almond.
