Basundi is traditional delicious thick sweetened milk
Steps

Heat milk in deep bottom vessel

Bring milk to boil stirring occasionally

Take out 2 tbsp milk in a bowl. Add saffron and soak to milk
- 4
Cook milk until reduced to half
- 5
Add saffron milk, sugar, cardamom and mix well. Cook for another 4 minutes

Allow to cool to room temperature. Blend basundi for better creamy texture. Chill until ready to serve

Just before serving, garnish with nuts. Serve cold
