Winter seasons first Garadu chat. Garadu is a root form of yam ... Mostly found in central india (MP).only In winters Deep fried garadu chat can be served as starter or as snack.(.In my family everyone loves the most..Or can say crazy for it)

Winter seasons first Garadu chat. Garadu is a root form of yam ... Mostly found in central india (MP).only In winters Deep fried garadu chat can be served as starter or as snack.(.In my family everyone loves the most..Or can say crazy for it)
Steps

First grease ur hand before cutting the garadu...To avoid itching.

Peel it.

Now cut it into round (disc)..As shown in the pic.

Take a pressure cooker...Add cut round garadu pieces..Add required water and cook for just 1 whistle..(they gets soft quickly).

Now remove from pressure cooker and let them dry for few minutes.

Then cut it into small pieces..(as shown in the pic).

Heat oil in a deep pan/wok.. Once the oil heat add garadu pieces in oil...And fry until golden brown...

Put them out on tissue paper to absorb excess oil...

Mix all spices of garadu chat...In a bowl.. (Mentioned above)

Take fried garadu in a serving plate.. Sprinkle prepared garadu masala...Mix well... Squeeze lemon juice...And mix.

Tangy Garadu chat is ready....Serve hot.

Note- u can skip the boiling step...U can fry directly...Bt I prefer to boil before frying...So they gets soft from inside and crisps from outside.....(cut it into small pieces and fry).
