Ingredients

  • 2 cansSliced Peaches with Heavy Syrup
  • White Sugar
  • Brown Sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla extract
  • Lemon juice
  • Nutmeg
  • 2 sticksbutter
  • Pillsbury Pie Dough
  • Cornstarch

Steps

    Pre heat oven to 350

  2. 2

    Drain one can of peaches

  3. 3

    Combine both cans of peaches in big mixing bowl

  4. 4

    Add 1/4 Cup of white sugar

  5. 5

    Add 1/4 cup of brown sugar

  6. 6

    Add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

  7. 7

    Add 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg

  8. 8

    Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  9. 9

    Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

  10. 10

    Place one stick of butter in pot on high heat

  11. 11

    Add seasoned peaches in pot on high heat

  12. 12

    Add 2 - 3 tablespoons of cornstarch

  13. 13

    Cook until fully thick, about 5 - 10 minutes

  14. 14

    Pour cooked peaches over

  15. 15

    Add last layer of pie crust and flatten it out

  16. 16

    Optional: add designs to pie crust

  17. 17

    Pour 1/2 stick of melted butter on top

  18. 18

    Sprinkle a teaspoon of brown sugar

  19. 19

    Bake until top is brown (around 30 - 45 minutes)
